Vora Technologies Limited ("Vora", "we", "us", "our") is committed to being transparent about the technologies we use. This policy explains how we use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our web application at unispherehq.com and within our mobile applications. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy. For information about how we use your personal data, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or application. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide reporting information.

If you don't accept, or you decline, PostHog runs in anonymous mode: it still counts visits and actions, but sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser (apart from remembering a decline), attaches no identity and records no sessions. Visits are told apart by a hash that PostHog generates on its servers and changes daily.
Session replay (with cookies accepted only) records how pages are used, with every text field masked. Private conversations are never recorded, and money and account screens have all text masked. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Neither sets cookies nor stores anything on your device, and neither collects personal data.
We also collect first-party usage analytics (page views, feature usage, device type, session context) which are batched in browser storage and sent to our own servers. These events are associated with your session and user ID to help us understand how the platform is used.
Error Monitoring

3. Third-Party Services
Vora integrates with third-party services that may set their own cookies or use local storage:
- Stripe — Sets cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention when you interact with payment forms.
- Supabase — Uses local storage and cookies for authentication state management.
- PostHog — Sets a first-party cookie and local storage only if you accept analytics cookies (see above).
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
4. Local Storage and Session Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage and session storage for:
- Authentication state — Secure session tokens and user authentication (such as Supabase session tokens)
- Application state — Persisted user preferences and authenticated session data
- Theme and appearance — Light/dark mode and display preferences
- UI preferences — Sidebar state, muted groups, notification settings, and similar interface customisations
- Messaging caches — Conversation state and initialisation data for faster loading
- Search history — Recent and per-conversation search terms
- Session management — First-load detection, splash screen state, and page visit tracking (session storage)
- Analytics — Batched first-party usage events before transmission to our servers (only if you accept analytics cookies)
- Sign-in security — The random device identifier described above, and a short-lived note of when we last emailed you a sign-in code (session storage)
- PWA state — Progressive web app install and update prompts
- Invite and onboarding — Pending community invite codes during signup
5. Mobile App
The Vora native mobile application does not use cookies. Session persistence is maintained via a session ID stored in local app storage on your device. Authentication tokens and a random device identifier for sign-in security are stored securely using your device's keychain or keystore. With analytics on, PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in app storage; with it off, PostHog stores nothing on your device. You can change this in Settings › Privacy.
6. How to Control Cookies
You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the cookie banner back. You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

Blocking essential cookies may prevent Vora from functioning correctly.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform.
