Questions
Do I need an audience to start?
No. Start a club with a few people, or put on one event and let the club form around the people who came.
Is it free?
Starting a club and hosting free events is free. Core community access stays free; optional paid tools support larger clubs, hosting and ticketed events.
Can I charge?
Yes. Sell tickets to events, and turn on paid membership or paid rooms for your club. You set the price, and payments go through Stripe into your own balance.
When do I get paid for tickets?
Ticket money is released after the event has happened, then paid out to your bank. If you cancel, every guest is refunded in full automatically.
Do guests see my address?
Not before they book. The area shows on the event so people can find it, and the exact venue is shared with guests once they have a place.
How is Vora different from Patreon or Substack?
Patreon and Substack are content monetisation platforms. Vora is a community platform. It is not about distributing content — it is about building a space where your people connect with each other, not just with you.
